	Village Hall extension Please note that during the work to build the Childrens Centre extension to the Village Hall the Lounge will be used as the entrance to the Hall. As a result the Lounge (Meeting Room 2) is not available for renting until the building work is completed, which is currently scheduled to be at the end of January 2010.

The Hall is available for individual, group and corporate bookings, and, since April 2008, for weddings. It is very attractive and provides an excellent facility for events of all types. Facilities include: a large meeting/sports hall, two smaller meeting rooms, bar (separate licence required for use, contact Dave Chell on 01438 353042), male and female changing rooms with showers, large and well-equipped kitchen, toilets, and DJ/disco equipment. The Hall is heated and features easy disabled access. Free wireless internet access (802.11b, g and n) is available to hirers of the hall, together with an ethernet connection in Meeting Room 1. Outside facilities include a football pitch, tennis court and extensive parking. The Main Hall seats around 180 people. Meeting Room 1 (Committee Room) seats about 50 people. Rental rates are given below, except please note that Saturday evenings in the Hall are £25 per hour. The rates are revised in April each year.
